Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes Expecting First Child

Jason Derulo is going to become a dad for the first time!

The 31-year-old singer shared the news on Sunday night, 28 March.

Derulo posted a video to his Instagram account, showing him walking around a beach resort in the Bahamas with his girlfriend, Jena Frumes, who is visibly sporting a baby bump.

The “Wiggle” hitmaker captioned the video: “Couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our life @jenafrumes @bahamarresorts [sic].”

The parents-to-be met at a gym in March last year, just before the coronavirus pandemic hit, and since then have moved in together. The happy couple have been making TikTok videos while isolating together.

In December of the same year, Derulo said that kids had “crossed his mind”, but was in no “rush” to have them.

He added: “As the years go by, you’re like … what is it all for? I watch all my peers have kids and I still don’t have any, so I think about it often.”
